Healing Himalayan Salt

Not that long ago, you couldn't really find a Himalayan salt very readily unless you went into a metaphysical shop or some other, typically, unfrequented, very non-mainstream store. Now a days you can find them just about everywhere, even Walmart. While some may argue that they have "jumped the shark", I like to think that people have just finally realized the true healing benefits of this beneficial healing salt. 

Himalayan salt is actually unlike any other salt. It is actually very unique in flavor and in all of the benefits that it provides. Did you know that the salt contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements that are in the human body? This means that Himalayan salt exist in a colloidal form, that means the minerals are tiny enough for our cells to absorb them easily.  

There have been several studies on the use of Himalayan Salt use, and those who drank water with the salt in it saw some positive changes in respiration, circulation, and nervous system functions. The subjects in the study also reported increased ability in concentration and brain activity, and increased quality of sleep! 

I personally don't ingest Himalayan salt, but I might start! What I do have are the Himalayan Salt lamps, like I mentioned above, that are so very popular. If you're wondering where I got mine, I purchased them from Amazon, like I do most things, because it ships right to my house.  When buying salt lamps, just make sure that they are real Himalayan Salt and not plastic! 



I want to tell you about this really awesome experience I had yesterday. I made my first trip to a Himalayan Salt Cave for the first time and it was incredible. I will admit, before I went in I was super stuffy and definitely felt a cold coming on, but I went anyway. We entered the cave through a huge ornate door, and as soon as I sat down in the chair the woman covered me in a blanket and left me to hang out. The room was peaceful with twinkle lights and zen music playing. I immediately felt relaxed and closed my eyes, ready to go into a nice meditation while I was there. The first thing I noticed was how quickly I could go into trance, the second thing was how I could breath!! As I laid there for the next hour I was able to have a very intense meditation that definitely felt out of body. I also heard ringing and saw several orbs of light flying around the room. After the session was over, a few other ladies said they saw the same thing, and we even captured some in the photo. So I am confident in saying that this cave had a lot of energy associated with it, that, if you're open, you are able to experience for yourself. 

What I noticed, besides being able to breath out of my nose, is that I slept like a ROCK last night. I also noticed that some aches and pains I have were completely gone!!
